Roermond: Bishop's Seat and Designer Outlet at the Maas

The Maasplassen, a chain of lakes formed from gravel extraction along the Maas floodplain, extend south of the city and are used for sailing, swimming, and fishing.
Venlo is about 25 kilometres north. Maastricht lies roughly 45 kilometres south. The German border is approximately 10 kilometres east.
