The Alexandrium shopping centre, one of the largest retail concentrations in Rotterdam, lies to the south near the metro station. The Nesselande neighbourhood and recreational lake border to the east.
Rotterdam Centraal is about 8 kilometres southwest by metro. Capelle aan den IJssel borders to the north. The A20 motorway passes south of the district.
